Supervision: Erection should be under an experienced, competent person.
Loads: Check safe working loads, slab panel sizes and vertical support locations before pouring.
Foundation: Provide proper base plates so leg loads distribute onto compacted, level ground.
Guardrails and access: Fit guardrails on all open sides and secure ladders extending at least three feet above the platform.
Bracing and ties: No ties should be removed without adequate supervision. Ensure continuous bracing and tying-in for stability.
Avoid extra loads: Never place rebar bundles or additional temporary loads on erected formwork.
